Taylor Fauntleroy is a writer, director, creative director, and somewhat grown man who has yet to learn how to confront his emotions head-on. Instead, he uses dry comedy and visual metaphor in pursuit of deeper emotional truths, preferring to let the audience experience a character’s inner world rather than simply observe it.
His work is visually driven—whether using a camera move to land a joke or hallucinatory imagery convincing enough to explain an acid trip to your grandma. He doesn’t shy away from bending the rules of reality to share his own.
With a background in music videos, he spent years honing his love of camera movement, editorial trickery, sound design, and VFX—learning to harness them as heightened storytelling tools. By bending reality just enough, Taylor places the audience inside a character’s subjective experience, where emotion is felt before it’s explained and awkwardness is allowed to linger.
His work spans narrative, commercial, and music video projects, and the occasional visually stylized documentary. He has directed work for brands including Nike, TikTok, Microsoft, SoFi, Apple Music, Amazon, and others, and has collaborated with artists such as Tyla, Glass Animals, Lil Yachty, Bob Marley, and Eminem.
